The purpose of the client knowledge base documents is to document a client’s Archibus installation. These documents will contain details of the setup of and customizations made to the Archibus system.
Documentation of the customized configuration will be broken down into four sections; physical environment, software, customization, and scheduled events. The physical environment will cover the hardware, the physical setup and a brief discussion of client contact information. The software section contains additional software packages outside the core Archibus program. The customization section will review the Archibus schema changes and indicate changes to the additional software packages. The scheduled events will describe the automatic routines used for data updates, processing and transfers.
Included as appendices, will be copies of the code behind added or modified Archibus views, actions, and other routines. This will establish a clear baseline for the changes made to the system.
Standard Archibus user manuals provide documentation for “out of the box” Archibus installation and operation and should serve as a basis for reference and user training.
